As leading painting and decorating contractors with a growing reputation for complete refurbishment of offices and office refits, we were tasked with the transformation of an historic building which had stood derelict for years.
The building in Clarence Arcade in Ashton Under Lyne was to be turned into offices for the council. All walls and woodwork remained existing, they were not plastered and woodwork had not been replaced, so there was a serious amount of prep done to bring it up to the required standard.
The project took 16 weeks to complete which required four of our team working full time for the duration of the renovation period. Overall we created 15 new offices within the building with brilliant white walls andd white gloss woodwork throughout. The place did not look anything like the building we started with – fresh, modern and a great place to work.
The project was completed on time, on budget and to the expectations of the client.
